Depth in Water, Breadth in Development Policy
to move beyond siloed science and solutions
Our defining feature is range. We span a range of disciplines from hydrology and history to economics and governance. We partner with a range of scientists, artists, and communities to the highest level of policy and practice. We work in a range of geographies where we build long-term partnerships to achieve research excellence and impact on the ground. We employ a range of methods to generate evidence from case studies to long-term observational data. This comes together in The Blue Range, a global network of observatories examining adaptation and development pathways in a changing climate.
The Blue Range Labs is led by the Garrick Group in Water and Development Policy based at the University of Waterloo and University of Oxford.
